Lady Braves field hockey shuts out Sumit CD

Indian Hill notched its first win of the season Wednesday (9/3) at Summit Country Day. The young Braves went across town to shutout Summit Country Day, 2-0. Senior midfielder Rose Fessler and Freshman wing Ally McMillan both led the way offensively for Indian Hill. Each scored their first goal of the season in a stellar first half for the Braves. Sophomore Goalkeeper Layla Al-Zubi shut down the Summit offense, making several saves in route to her first shutout of the season. Indian Hill also got strong play from Senior Midfielders Gibson Bullock and Marlee Bathalter. The Braves look to ride this momentum into next week's home game vs. Fairmont.
