Ranked #2 in Ohio, Girls Tennis just keeps rolling along.

Indian Hill varsity girls tennis improved their season record to 11-4 this week and maintained their #2 State ranking.
Our team defeated CHL rivals Wyoming and Finneytown this week after dropping a decision to Mason on Monday.

Every varsity teammate has made big contributions throughout our lineup. Jessica August has played consistently well throughout the season and is undefeated with a perfect 10-0 record. Her impeccable accomplishments have been even more remarkable since Jessica is only a freshman and has been moved around the lineup teaming with differing doubles partners. She has teamed well with fellow talented freshman, Jessie Budde and lately with Madeline Major, all of whom continue to impress.

Madeline has also moved around the doubles lineup throughout the season and keeps playing better and better.

The Braves are so fortunate to also have a formidable doubles tandem of Nina Price and Julia Yingling. Nina and Julia can compete at 1st doubles with all of the best teams across Ohio.

Sophomore Samantha Pregel is 10-2 at the 3rd singles position. Samantha is playing at a high level and is invaluable to our team's success.

Lastly, our top varsity players, Gracey Hirsch and Hayley Hirsch continue to deliver huge wins against the best players in Cincinnati. Gracey's sportsmanship and talent was on display against a recent CHL opponent. Her opponent broke her strings and Gracey ran to give her one of her own rackets. Regardless of who is playing with whose racket, Gracey went on to post the victory.

Upcoming varsity matches are as follows; Ursuline @ IHHS on Thursday, 9/28. Loveland @ IHHS on Tuesday, 10/3.
Varsity tennis has away matches at Taylor on 10/4 and at Chaminade-Julienne on 10/6.

All our best to all of the fall sports teams as we get close to the post season tournaments.
