Coach Hughes wins number 250!

Coach Ellen Hughes, respected teacher and VB coach was honored for achieving her 250th win at Indian Hill.  Coach Hughes has been the face behind Indian Hill Volleyball for 18 seasons.  She has maintained a high standard of volleyball achievement in that time. At Monday's game vs Roger Bacon (Coach Hughes is a Bacon alum) she was honored by AD Jeff Zidron for achieving her career 250th win this season.

The 250th win came September 15th against the Deer Park Wildcats.  The Braves came on strong and finished off the Wildcats in three quick games that evening. They have since added 6 more wins to bring Hughes' career total wins to 256 and bring their season record up to 13-7 on the year.

The Braves have been performing at a level much above their rostered ages. Their level of success speaks to how well Coach Hughes has been able to direct a team that frequently has 3 underclassmen on the court.  The girls enjoy playing for her and are pushed to be continually improving.  This year's post-season proves to be an exciting one!

The Braves take on Batavia in the first round of the District tournament on Monday October 17th at 8pm at Blanchester High School.  Come out and support your Braves as they fight to extend their season!
