King "Kongs" Wyoming 8-3

Ace pitcher A.J. King pitched a complete game scattering 7 hits and 1 walk in an Ohio High School State Tournament 1st round win at Indian Hill on Wednesday 5/10.

King threw 107 pitches (69 for strikes) as he cruised through the game.

The Braves gave King a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning with rbi hits by Andrew Brockoff and Winston Caine.

Indian Hill batted around in the 5th scoring 5 additional runs. Chandler Harris started the inning with a leadoff double that was followed by a King walk, a Brockoff triple, a Winston Caine single, a Joe Oakes double, Max Ruschau's single and a sac fly by Jackie Hammond.

The Braves amassed a total of 13 hits in the game with multi hit efforts by Keith Hammond, Chandler Harris, Andrew Brockoff, Winston Caine and Joe Oakes.

The victory counted in state tournament play as well as completing a sweep of Wyoming by the baseball Braves in regular season play.

Indian Hill now hosts of Reading on Thursday (5/11) in 2nd round state tournament action.
