On Tuesday, April 18th the Braves defeated Seven Hills 4-1, with the only loss coming down to a super tiebreaker in the 3rd set by Junior Andrew Pregel at #1 singles against one of the other top players in the city Nick Williams.

Winning at singles were Senior Christiano Lima and Junior Maanas Pisati, and at doubles the teams of Seniors Milan Bhandari/Pablo Guzman and Senior Mrinal Singh/Sophomore Mack Ellis. Of note, IH will play Seven Hills again in the semi-finals of Team State qualification.

The next day the Braves traveled up north to Oakwood for the 2nd round of Team State qualification (IH had a bye in the first round) and swept all five courts to win 5-0. Lima, Pisati, and Freshman Anay Guatham won at singles, while Bhandari/Guzman and Singh/Ellis won at doubles.

On Thursday, April 19th the Braves won 5-0 in a conference match against Madiera, giving up no more than 3 games on any court. Pisati, Guzman, and Gautham won in singles, while Bhandari/Lima and Singh/Ellis swept the doubles.

The Braves gear up for another busy week next week with matches scheduled against Cincinnati Country Day, Finneytown, and the 2 day Coaches Classic Tournament where Indian Hill will compete in the top flight A against very competitive schools, mostly D1. Hope to have another great week!
